Assistant no longer works as it once did. No voice, no notification, no nothing. What is going on? It's now almost the end of March. I don't know if there's been an update again or some kind of Back Door update, but it seems that Google Assistant is no longer making. It's presence known when you call to it. So, you don't know if it's open or not, if you're not looking directly at your phone, this is Unusable, while driving, please fix this.

I use this app constantly. One of the things that I cannot stand is the fact that there seems to be no way to shut off the screen prompt for quick phrases without disabling the quick phrase. I love using "stop" and "snooze" for alarms and timers, I often use "answer" and "decline" for incoming phone calls. I don't love that the prompt completely covers up the caller's name. It should be possible to disable the onscreen prompt. Also, the email listed in the app store is disabled.

Google Assistant fails to make a sound to indicate it is active on my S20+, so it's pretty useless, since I never know if Google Assistant is actually activated and ready unless I'm looking at my phone, in which case I would not need Google Assistant. Could not find an option for the App to make a confirmation sound after saying "ok Google". PS: will send Feedback report as suggested and added one star for quick developer response. PS: As suggested in the review reply, I have submitted the issue via the Feedback form. It is quite simple: I say "OK Google", but never know whether my phone is "listening", as there is no confirmation sound. I have to LOOK at my phone to see if the assistant responds or is listening, but that sort of defeats the purpose for me.
